Find a logotherapist

Logotherapy addresses a wide variety of life challenges, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, illness, addiction, phobias and relationship issues. The main technique in Logotherapy is Socratic Dialogue, in which the Logotherapist asks the person questions to help them deepen their awareness of what they are longing for and at the same time how life is inviting them to rise to the challenges they have been given and become the person they were meant to be. The Logotherapist helps them to become aware of their values and to see that they always have a choice.

Regardless of what we are struggling with, in the end we have to find our own answers. No one can find it for us. We have to take responsibility for our own lives. Thus, the Logotherapist is like a facilitator in a dialogue between the client and life itself. Life, so to speak is always asking something of me. What kind of opportunity is this? How can I use it to serve a higher good?

Every person we meet and every situation we experience is an encounter that connects us with someone or something beyond ourself. The focus, therefore is not on how I can be happy. First, find something meaningful to do, and happiness will come of its own accord.

We will do our best to find the appropriate Logotherapist for you, whether it is from our staff or our graduates. Every Logotheraist has a different style and a different area of expertise.

Testimonials

In the process of being counseled through Logotherapy, I've come to find that my greatest perceived weaknesses are my wealth in this life--- invaluable gifts that not only help me to appreciate my lot in this world, but also tools for carrying out my purpose, my tasks and responsibilities in it as well. Likewise, I can say that my ability to cope with illness has undergone quite a transformation as well. Though illness seems at a glance, a pointless and cruel affliction, it is ultimately for the good--- purifying and strengthening what needs to be healed. And in this light, a poison becomes medicine

I finally got it! I get what Logotherapy is. In the beginning, from summer, for me it was so hard to find peace in myself about the meaning in life, I could not find meaning in those terrible things that happen in this world, I had so much inner conflict. Everyday, really everyday from summer I was dealing with myself. It was very good to have those Mondays, it helped me a lot. It was really hard! Really. But now it is different! I realised that the point is not on what happened, the point is what I am going to do with it. Logotherapy fulfilled something I was lacking, I was aware of it but I didn't not knew what it was. I found peace. THANK YOU!

Through logotherapy I've discovered it's not about seeing the glass half full but about seeing that when the glass is half empty you don't have to despair. It is not about lying to yourself or pretending, it is about seeing the bigger picture. I try to find meaningful moments in everyday activities and in a pressure situation I try to use humor or alter my attitude which gives me an opportunity to change the whole situation into a positive experience. My family will tell you I'm a different person today. Your gentleness teaches gentleness

You got me to a place of what I do want as opposed to what I don't want…The process is not endless, like many types of therapy…so there's a utilitarian aspect to the therapy, despite the deep and rich philosophy behind it…You, personally, are compelling, into it, understanding, empathetic (not soppy), not dismissive, willing to repeat yourself, an amazing listener
